Gran Turismo 7 has received its March 2025 update, bringing fresh content to the acclaimed racing simulator. Update 1.57 introduces three new vehicles and several additions aimed at enhancing the gameplay experience for both new and returning players. The game, developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony, continues to maintain its popularity through consistent post-launch support.
The newly added cars include the Aston Martin Vintage ’18, Mazda CX-30 X Smart Edition ’21, and Renault Kangoo 1.4 ’01. Players can obtain all three vehicles through Brand Central, while the Renault Kangoo is also available in the Used Cars section. These additions bring more variety to the game’s vehicle roster, catering to fans of both performance and utility cars.
Beyond the new cars, Update 1.57 introduces an Extra Menu centered around Suzuki, expanding the collection tasks within the Café. Three new races have also been added to World Circuits: “Sunday Cup: Brands Hatch Indy Circuit,” “European Clubman Cup 600: Deep Forest Raceway Reverse,” and “Japanese FF Challenge 450: Tokyo Expressway – Central Counterclockwise,” offering players more challenges across diverse tracks.
Gran Turismo Sophy, the game’s AI racing agent, has also been upgraded to version 2.1 and is now accessible in Custom Races on the PlayStation 5 version of the game. Sophy’s real-time adaptive learning makes AI opponents behave more like human racers, and the update further improves its responsiveness and realism during races.
As the PlayStation-exclusive title continues to evolve, fans hoping for a PC version may be disappointed. Despite ongoing efforts by Sony to expand its game library to PC, rumors earlier this year suggested a planned Gran Turismo 7 port was canceled. No official explanation was provided, and for now, the game remains available only on PS4 and PS5.
