The iconic skateboarding franchise is making a return with a fresh set of remasters as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 brings the beloved classics into the modern era. Following in the footsteps of 2021’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 remasters, this latest release features updated visuals and refined gameplay. Developer Iron Galaxy, known for their work on titles like Rumbleverse and Killer Instinct, is leading the project, ensuring a faithful yet refreshed experience for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
Players can look forward to all the original skate parks from both Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, along with a brand-new level named Waterpark. Teased at the end of the announcement trailer, this new location is a sprawling, abandoned waterpark filled with ramps, rails, and vertical drops designed to challenge skaters. Returning pros from the previous remaster will be joined by a fresh roster of newcomers, including Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Jamie Foy, Zion Wright, and Yuto Horigome.
Music has always been a crucial part of the Tony Hawk experience, and while the full soundtrack remains under wraps, several classic songs have been confirmed to make a comeback. Tracks such as “Amoeba” by Adolescents, “Ace of Spades” by Motörhead, and “Mass Appeal” by Gang Starr will be featured alongside new additions to the playlist. A cross-platform multiplayer mode will allow up to eight players to compete online, and an enhanced Create-A-Park mode will let players design and share their own custom skateparks.
The remaster is scheduled for release on July 11, launching on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and Battle.net. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have access to the game on day one. Players who preorder the deluxe or collector’s edition will gain early access starting July 8, offering a head start before the official release.
Standard editions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be priced at $49.99, while the deluxe edition at $69.99 includes exclusive skater skins, in-game items, and additional soundtrack songs. The collector’s edition, priced at $129.99, includes all deluxe content plus a Birdhouse-branded physical skate deck. A playable demo is available today for those who preorder, featuring two skaters, two parks, and a sampling of the game’s soundtrack.
