Starting a company usually means juggling payments, email, phone systems, cloud services, databases and paperwork before the real work even begins. Naïve wants to change that by giving AI agents the infrastructure to handle much of the setup and day-to-day operation of a business.

• Naïve is building infrastructure for AI-run businesses
• The platform automates many routine company operations
• Developers can connect AI agents through a single API

The startup has attracted more than 30,000 developers within months of launching, highlighting growing demand for tools that allow AI agents to do more than generate code. Its platform can help provision business infrastructure, including payments, email accounts, virtual cards, phone numbers, cloud computing and storage.

• More than 30,000 developers are using the platform
• AI agents can manage multiple business services
• The system is designed to reduce repetitive setup work

Naïve can also help agents handle parts of company formation, including creating a U.S. LLC, although humans must still complete identity and business verification requirements and make necessary payments. Once established, businesses can use AI agents to connect services such as Stripe and QuickBooks, manage databases and operate other digital systems.

• Company formation can be partly automated
• Human approval remains necessary for sensitive steps
• Agents can connect financial and business software

The company says its technology is already being used for autonomous businesses, including AI automation agencies, online content operations and a rental car business. Naïve has also increased its annual run-rate revenue tenfold over the past six months to the low double-digit millions, helping attract a $28.5 million Series A led by Nexus Venture Partners.

• AI agents are already being used to operate businesses
• Revenue has grown sharply in recent months
• Naïve has raised $28.5 million in new funding

The bigger opportunity may be making AI agents cheaper to operate. Naïve plans to use the funding to develop model routing, memory systems, agent orchestration and a serverless runtime that avoids giving every agent a full virtual machine. The company believes reducing the cost of running large numbers of AI agents could become just as important as automating company creation.

• New tools will target the cost of AI inference
• Lightweight infrastructure could make agents cheaper to run
• The company plans to expand its team and infrastructure research
