Can you taste a song? CES 2026 suggests the answer is yes if you are willing to stick a computer in your mouth. Lollipop Star showcased a confectionery device that transmits songs from artists like Ice Spice directly into your skull using bone conduction technology. This bizarre fusion of flavor and audio is just the tip of the iceberg at an event where innovation often crosses the line into pure absurdity.

• Lollipop Star transmits music through bone conduction
• The device combines audio with fruity flavors
• Artists like Ice Spice and Akon are featured

Razer is blurring the line between gaming coach and digital roommate with Project AVA (featured in the thumbnail). This concept device projects a 5.5-inch animated hologram that lives on your desk to offer productivity tips or emotional support. Users select an avatar like the anime-styled Kira or Zane to watch over their daily activities through a built-in camera that tracks eye movement and facial expressions.

Loneliness in the elderly population is being addressed by a cuddly solution named An’An. Mind with Heart Robotics designed this AI-powered panda with sensors that allow it to react naturally to physical touch and retain memories of interactions. It provides round-the-clock companionship while monitoring the well-being of the user to keep caregivers informed.

Kitchen appliances are getting expensive upgrades that rely on ultrasonic vibrations and artificial intelligence. Seattle Ultrasonics introduced a $399 knife that vibrates 30,000 times a second to slice through food with invisible force. GoveeLife meanwhile revealed a $500 countertop ice maker that uses AI NoiseGuard technology to predict and prevent the loud crunching sounds typically associated with freezing water.

• The GoveeLife ice maker uses AI to reduce noise
• Both kitchen gadgets come with premium price tags

Home security has taken a charming turn with the introduction of the Zeroth Robotics W1. This programmable rover resembles a famous Pixar character and offers 360-degree mobile surveillance for a steep price tag of nearly five thousand dollars. Families can take the bot on camping trips where it serves as a gear hauler and automated photographer while providing portable power.

• The W1 robot offers mobile home security
• It functions as a camping companion and power source
• The device resembles the character Wall-E
