This system marks a significant advancement over Volvo’s previous Nvidia-powered technology. The Orin chipset provides an eightfold increase in processing speed compared to Nvidia’s earlier Xavier processor, which was first introduced in a 2018 collaboration between Volvo and the chipmaker.
